This is one of my favourite songs that I recorded with my old band and one that I am most proud of. I love the arrangement, there are shades of Genesis about it. The song was written after I watched a documentary about the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior by the French. We sit back and watch the news and watch how the rich bribe governments to enrich themselves at the cost of everyone else. By turning a blind eye these people get away with it. I truly believe that our world is fighting for survival, while faceless people take control. They Win, We Lose. Yes we cannot trust the papers, but neither can we trust the people in power, they are both out to make money with their dodgy handshakes, but we must guard ourselves from falling for conspiracy theories, the truth is out there, you just need to find non-biased viewpoints, check out multiple credible sources. Anyway, this song is basically about that.

Verse One
Our world is fighting for survival,
while faceless people take control.
They Win, We Lose, For what prize?
Who cares? I’m Scared, It’s a short fuse.

Verse Two
Spies sent a few years back for one ship.
A vessel manned to save the whale.
Headlined, Big News, A sunk ship.
Who knew? When they blew, it to bits.

Chorus
They’re undercover, You can’t uncover their names.
In secret orders, these people hiding their face.

Verse Three
Who plays the tune to which we dance to?
A handshake seems to win the day.
It’s all, So strange, it scares me.
who has, control? I don’t know.

Chorus
They’re undercover, You can’t uncover their names.
In secret orders,
these people hiding their face.
